Naugadeshree Basic School, Darchula

Naugadeshree Basic School, a small institution located in Naugad Rural Municipality-5 of Darchula district, was struggling to provide proper learning environment. The school runs classes from grade 1 to 5. Most of the desks and benches of the school were either broken, unusable, or had already been discarded, forcing the students to sit on the floor during lessons.
A local online newspaper highlighted the situation, which caught the attention of VG Foundation. Concerned about the children’s education and learning conditions, we immediately reached out to the school principal to understand the needs.
22 desks and benches were donated to Naugadeshree Basic School. This contribution has brought immense relief to the school administration, teachers, and students, who can now focus on teaching and learning in a more comfortable and dignified environment.
The students of Naugadeshree Basic School are now able to sit properly on desks and benches and take part in lessons with renewed enthusiasm. For them, this support is more than just furniture — it represents care, encouragement, and the promise of a brighter educational journey.
