Walking Towards Education with Dignity: VG Foundation Supports 25 Students in Banke
Banke, Nepal – Every child deserves the opportunity to attend school with dignity. However, for 25 students studying at Madrassa Arabiya Gulsane Warish Hurmatul Ulum in Narainpur-4, Banke, the journey to education was filled with hardship. Due to their families’ difficult financial situation, many of the students walked barefoot on scorching roads every day, lacking even the most basic school necessities.
After the issue was highlighted by the media on newspaper, VG Foundation stepped forward to support all 25 students with essential educational materials and footwear, ensuring they can continue their education with greater comfort and confidence. Each student received a school bag, English, Mathematics, and Nepali set books, notebooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, a pair of school shoes and socks. These materials will not only support their learning but also help ease the daily challenges they face while attending school.
The successful implementation of this initiative was made possible through the active coordination and support of NIC Asia Bank – Nepalgunj Branch. VG Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Min Raj Gyawali – Branch Manager and his branch team for their dedication and cooperation in ensuring the timely distribution of the support.
