VG Foundation Celebrates Shrawan 2083 with Children at Helping Hands Children Home.

July 25, 2026

VG Foundation successfully organized the Shrawan Celebration 2083 at Helping Hands Children Home, Nagarjun, on Saturday, 25th July 2026, bringing together children, volunteers, and partners for a day filled with joy, care, and togetherness.

As part of the celebration, VG Foundation provided food supplies worth NPR 34,000 for the home, benefiting all 70 members, including the children and staff.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Leo Club of Kathmandu Budigandaki and the Lions Club of Kathmandu Budigandaki, whose members volunteered throughout the program. Cultural Trend Nepal also supported the celebration by providing traditional accessories.

One of the highlights of the event was the preparation of a freshly cooked meal by the volunteers. Together, they prepared and served lunch to all the children and staff, making the celebration even more special by sharing a meal with everyone.

The program also featured a range of fun and cultural activities, including dance performances, Mehndi (Henna), music, games, and interactive sessions. The children enthusiastically participated in every activity, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere.

This event continued VG Foundation’s annual tradition of celebrating the holy month of Shrawan with children living in care homes. Through this initiative, the Foundation aims to spread happiness, encourage community participation, and create meaningful experiences for children while supporting their everyday needs.

VG Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Leo Club of Kathmandu Budigandaki, Lions Club of Kathmandu Budigandaki, Cultural Trend Nepal, and the management of Helping Hands Children Home for their valuable support and collaboration in making the event a memorable success.
